The Mother Hen Friend
Your Best Friend in the Birth World
I am a non-medical trained professional that provides families with evidenced-based emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
I am here to companion you through your journey and capture your story as it unfolds in its' own beautiful way.

Meet Meagan
Who is the Mother Hen Friend?
I am a wife and mom in the west valley of Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up in a household of women- surrounded by sisters. I am an advocate, a space holder, a secret keeper, and a caring companion.

I was first introduced to the holistic approach to birth in 2012 and a passion for it was lit inside me. I have had two amazing & empowering birthing center births. A water birth in 2012 and an unmedicated out-of-water birth in 2017- both midwife assisted. It was those experiences that propelled me to follow my calling in supporting families navigate their pregnancy journey, birth options, and life after baby.

I have a special understanding for military families, teen parents, and mental health survivors.

My professional training includes:
-
Birth & Bereavement with Stillbirthday
-
Postpartum Doula training and member with CAPPA
-

As I am also a trained doula, I am here to support you in any way I can during your labor- like helping your partner support you best or encouraging you on your journey through.
