By submitting an application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information I Collect

When you apply for the scholarship, I may collect:

• Full name and contact information (email address, phone number)

• Estimated due date and intended birth location

• Any personal statements or stories you choose to share in your application

• The intended name of your unborn child (if provided)

• Responses to eligibility questions (age, location, etc.)

2. How I Use Your Information

Your information is used for:

• Reviewing your eligibility for the scholarship

• Contacting you about your application status

• Coordinating photography services if you are selected

• Fulfilling legal and contractual obligations (such as model releases and hospital permissions)

If you are awarded the scholarship, your name, due date month, and general birth location may be referenced internally for scheduling purposes.

3. Sharing of Information

I will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

I may share limited information:

• With assistants, second photographers, or contractors working under confidentiality agreements to support your birth photography

• With your care provider or birth location, but only to the extent necessary to secure permission for photography

• As required by law, court order, or legal process

4. Public Image Use

As a condition of the scholarship, you agree that selected images from your birth may be shared publicly for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes.

• Names will not be included in shared images unless you have given explicit written permission.

• While I choose images respectfully, recipients do not have final approval over which images are used.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Applications are stored securely, with access limited to me and any designated team members.

• Images are stored in password-protected systems.

• Application data is kept for up to 2 years for record-keeping and scheduling purposes, then deleted.

6. Your Rights

You may request to:

• Access the personal information I have on file for you

• Correct or update your information

• Withdraw your application before a scholarship decision is made (note: this will remove you from consideration)
